Surrey Landscapers began in 1980, when the Parkinson family set up as garden builders in Reigate. More than four decades later it is still the same family business — and that continuity is really the whole story. When the same hands have been shaping Surrey gardens for 45 years, you get judgement that can't be shortcut: the feel for what a plot wants to be, and the patience to build it so it lasts.

Over those years the work grew from a single trade into whole-garden design and build — levels and groundwork, paving and driveways, decking and garden rooms, fencing, turfing and planting — with one team carrying a job from the first sketch to the last plant. When one team is answerable for the whole garden, nothing gets lost between trades.

One of the achievements we are proudest of is becoming certified Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) members. It is not a badge for the wall so much as a discipline: it means the horticulture behind a garden is done properly, so the planting we put in fills out and matures the way it should rather than struggling.
